 Device-to-Device Mode
Dialing IPStar ID numbers
When both sides IPStar is on-line, you can simply dial the receiver's
six-digit IPStar ID number, and you will be connected to other IPStar
automatically. Even the first minute connection charge can be saved.
Dialing phone numbers
If you are not sure if the receiver's IPStar is on-line, you may first
dial the phone number as you normally would via IDD. When they answer,
you can tell them to turn on the IPStar, then you can just press the
middle button on IPStar and this call will be switched to Internet
automatically.

Device-to-Phone Mode
IPStar has the ability to communicate with other Internet
Telephony products, like DSG's IP2000 Gateways. With an active ITSP or
Device ID account, you can call all the covered areas of compatible
ITSPs with low service rates. In this mode, the receiver doesn't need
to equipped with an IPStar.

InterPhone-to-InterPhone/InterStar Mode
Every DSG's VoIP product has its unique ID number. If the
party you wish to call is equipped with a DSG VoIP product such as
InterPhone/InterStar, you may enter the receiver's IP address or
Device ID number directly then you can talk to the remote receiver
immediately. Or you may use IP Phone Book to call the receiving
party with user-defined codes.

Every DSG's VoIP product has its unique ID number. If your
remote party is equipped with IPStar, you can also just simply
dial the receiver's Device ID when the receiver is connecting to
the Internet.
